NKOTB After Dark at Axis in Planet Hollywood 7/10/14

Several months ago, I heard (from the NKOTB mailing list I'm subscribed to) that my all-time favorite boy band NKOTB would be doing a European tour this summer. I didn't want to miss an opportunity to see them but couldn't seem to coordinate their tour dates with the dates Sean and I were actually planning to be in Europe. Fortunately, I then heard they were adding a Vegas show to their summertime schedule! How perfect! (I live in Vegas.)

The show was scheduled for 4 days, July 10th-13th, to take place at the Axis at Planet Hollywood. On the 10th, Sean and I FINALLY started looking into tickets. (We're not great at planning ahead these days.) Groupon had sent us an email a week or two prior advertising $59 tickets for sale but we didn't know what our schedule would be like that far in advance so we decided to wait it out. I think the show ended up selling out but that didn't mean we couldn't get tickets. We did a quick Craigslist search and found tickets ranging from close to $1k each down to $25 each. Most of the inexpensive tickets were for seats in the back few rows and most had already sold by the time we messaged them but we got lucky and found one guy who still had tickets for $25 each! We got a can of Joose (alcohol) to pre-game for the concert and make things a bit more "festive". Then we drove down to Planet Hollywood to pick the tickets up, figuring they'd be for seats in the back but that it was definitely better than nothing! Once we got the tickets, however, we noticed that they were originally priced at $130 each and were for really good seats (located right behind the table and bottle service section)! Wow..
When we got inside and the show started, we were close enough, for the first time ever, to really see the faces of the New Kids and when they came out into the audience they came so close we could almost touch them!! We sang along with nearly all the songs and took so many pics and vids that our phones died before the concert was over. Luckily, we got some amazing shots and footage to help us remember the already unforgettable night forever!!
