New Floor in the Mini Gym

Sean and I found maybe two medium-sized rooms worth of puzzle-style rubber matting at a yard sale and bargained to get it all for $45. Sean used less than half of it the other day when he ripped out and replaced the ugly, old carpet in our mini gym area (formerly the dining room). It took hours, but he did an incredible job. It looks GOOD now.

VO2 Max = 48 (Top 5%)

I got my VO2 max to 48 recently. Top 5% for my age and gender? Not terrible.

Pics were actually taken on April 14th, but I'm maintaining the 48 and hopefully headed higher!  😁 

We Got a Video Poker Machine FREE!

We picked up an old video poker machine, once used at the Stardust Casino, for free yesterday. Literally $0, other than the price of gas to pick it up from across town, thanks to the local Buy Nothing group. 😍 The Stardust was torn down years ago, but this little piece survived!

 

Getting Ready For Life As A 5G Antenna (We Got Our 1st COVID-19 Shot)

Got our microchips. When does the 5G kick in? 😛

Everyone 16y/o+ just became eligible for COVID-19 vaccination here in Nevada yesterday, so Sean and I booked our appointments in right away. CVS had next-day appointments available, so we booked with them. Their closest vaccination location to us was in the Hollywood area of Las Vegas, approximately 16 minutes from home by car. 

Roughly 1.5 days after becoming eligible, here we are at CVS, getting our first doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine! 

We sat around for 15 minutes after the shot, as instructed, but left feeling better than ever, so we decided to take advantage of being in the area and go for a brief, desert jog near Hollywood Regional Park. 

Back home and feeling great now, second dose scheduled for April 27th, guess I'd better start preparing for life as an antenna!

Renji Plush!

HE IS FINALLY MINE! ❤🔥 I rescued my suuuper cheap, imperfect Renji plush from a fellow Mercari seller. Thank you, ..."Brittany Spear"?! 🤣 I LOVE HIM SO FREAKIN MUCH 😭 — way more than all the pristine ones on eBay and such. (I'm damaged goods too. Why would I want a Renji who wasn't? Besides, every real fighter has battle scars.) This little guy had better get ready to see the world with me. 🌎
