As of 3/8/19, Sean is officially an American citizen! He had his ceremony in downtown Las Vegas at 1pm yesterday, complete with the Pledge of Allegiance and speeches! They said to "dress appropriately" and he took that quite seriously, as you can see. LOL He got a cool certificate to commemorate the moment as well as a mini flag, a flag pin, copies of the Declaration of Independence and Constitution, etc! Then he and I registered to vote together! On the way back to the car, we got free cans of Monster energy drink from the Mint 400 Off Road Festival, I think it was, that we found ourselves walking through. To celebrate, we went to the Rodizio Grill Brazilian restaurant with Danny next to spend the gift card he had given us for Christmas getting fat! (Seemed like an appropriate sort of initiation for Sean. :p Thanks, Danny!) Feeling painfully rotund, Sean and I then took the dogs to Whitney Mesa to walk a few miles around sunset. Not a bad way to spend International Women's Day?! Definitely not a bad way to celebrate Sean's new citizenship. CONGRATULATIONS, HUSBAND!
