NKOTB, Video Game, and Other Stuff - 6/26/13

Sean and I finally got around to shipping out the package we'd promised to the guys at Hi-Fi Pizza in Dorchester, MA when we went to see some of the old NKOTB spots! Maureen had asked for a keychain but we sent much more. :) We sent a UK beanie baby bear, butterscotch candies, and photos we'd taken at Hi-Fi and with Joey McIntyre's dad for the restaurant; a keychain, a couple of pins, and a stone from the UK for Maureen; and a Las Vegas bling necklace and London shot glass for our favorite employee there, Wally! Hope they receive and enjoy their stuff soon!

Message we wrote to Hi-Fi on the back of one of the pics we sent:

When we went out later, we found some Spice Girls dance game for the Playstation for $5 at Gamer's Paradise - the new game store by Pinball Hall of Fame. Sean has the PAL version in the UK but now we have the NTSC version here. I've never played it so this should be interesting. Vid coming soon!

Then Sean and I used some free play and coupons at Ellis Island, Silver Sevens (just changed its name from Terrible's!), and Speedee Mart and got $20 free cash!

We also made a little time to swing by UNLV to check out the new DDR Solo machine Gordon had told us they'd replaced Extreme with but when we got there the game room was closed for the evening. We did manage to get some pics though. Looks like the machine is a Bass Mix!

After checking the game room for DDR, Sean and I found 2 baby birds on campus just hopping around on the ground! Looked like they'd fallen out of their nest. Luckily, they're parents were still around. Vid coming soon!

About an hour and a half before closing time, Sean and I stopped in Savers and found 2 NKOTB tapes in the VHS section!! Obviously, we bought them, went straight home, and watched both, even though I'd already seen Hangin' Tough Live about 150 times before. It never gets old! It was our first time watching the other Hangin' Tough video. So cool how we've been to so many of the places we saw in it, both in MA and here in Vegas!
