Girlpocalypse 2026 Results

A little late sharing this, but I wanted to highlight Girlpocalypse 2026 for a moment!

In past years, the divisions a participant could enter were limited in various ways, but this year—for the first time—all participants could enter as many ITG event divisions as they chose to as well as any SMX divisions they hadn't previously qualified out of, which made things really interesting. Pretty sure I'd never entered an SMX tournament before, and I'm definitely out of my element playing anything other than ITG stamina/endurance these days, but I figured it was a good chance to try something ~new.

I unfortunately didn't have enough SMX access to attempt full mode, only got to play three sets of SMX singles at friends' houses, dabbled with the ITG tech and timing charts a minimal amount before running my sets, and *may* have underestimated how goated a couple of the SMX and tech/timing mains actually are. I went in with an open mind to learn and see how I'd do though, and I really can't be mad about my attempts. Both my many years of dance gaming and my inexperience with SMX and modern tech/timing charts definitely showed in some spots, but I’m glad I gave it a shot.

My stamina and modern endurance sets didn’t go at all how I’d hoped either, but the rankings didn't expose the shortcomings of those moments so ๐Ÿคท‍♀️. ๐Ÿ˜†

I didn't save my SMX vids, but I'll share some ITG vids from this event and other recent ITG highlights tomorrow or so. In the meantime, here are my results from the divisions I managed to do sets for:

ITG Endurance (Modern): rank 1/13

ITG Stamina: rank 1/17

ITG Endurance (Grandma's Stamina): rank 1/14 for women's/non-binary (This event was meant to be open to the public, so despite official rankings on the Girlpocalypse website, I *technically* ranked 2nd after my friend ViVi ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น (he KILLED it ๐Ÿ’ช) and before LemmingOnTheRun (Richard Dannenberg) in 3rd.)

ITG Tech: rank 5/11

ITG Timing: rank 8/19

SMX Funky Dolphin (Wild 21-23)(4th hardest of 5 singles divisions): rank 6/20

SMX - Pink Dinosaur (Wild 19-21)(3rd hardest of 5 singles divisions): rank 4/21

Next year, I may or may not enter ITG tech and timing again, depending on event format. If I do, I *miiiiiiight* train the tiniest bit more for it with at least a few dedicated sets for just playing that content. We'll see. I hope to also have more SMX access—either at home or once I have reliable transportation again—and be able to play through all of SMX's hardest-division content as well as enter full mode.

Either way, I'll definitely still be 95-99% focused on ITG stamina, endurance, and maybe footspeed ๐Ÿ˜› but cool to get out of my comfort zone and get my ass handed to me for a bit. Lol

Girlpocalypse 2025 Results!

๐Ÿฅณ Thank youuu^♾️ to freyja, Hamaon, and Thaya for making all this possible as well as to fellow participants and all of you who came to cheer me on and keep me company on stream during this. Events like this and people like you—especially those of you who gave these packs hell and pushed yourselves with me—are my reason for still chasing all these arrows after nearly 22 years. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ”ฅ

All 50 United States Visited (by me)!

Another bucket list item and 2023 goal completed: all 50 United States now visited! ✅️๐Ÿฅณ I'd been meaning to wrap this up for awhile and snag the free shirt and certificate I'd learned they give you at the visitor center in Fargo when you make North Dakota your last state and stop by. Well, made it! I've officially seen every state and celebrated the finale thoroughly. ๐Ÿ˜Ž Thanks so much to David Sjรถstrand for being here for it!

1st Place ECS 11.5 Lower Division

My ECS 11.5 trophy arrived a few weeks ago! (I've been meaning to share. Better late than never!) 1st place in lower division again. ๐Ÿฅณ

I'm still not good enough to enter upper, and though I did my best at the time, which wasn't terrible for me, I also felt my performance for my two mid teams was just less than stellar. I wished I could've done just a little more. I do feel very proud of how hard my teammates worked, however, as well as that I personally stepped up pretty solidly for lower and mayyybe got Urza a few more points than he couldve manageed solo..? ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿ˜… In any case, I'm pretty happy with our performance in lower and love the trophy, which I've picked a nice spot next to last year's for, to commemorate the effort!

Thanks again to Urza for always being such a great teammate as well as to Ian and crew for the wild amount of work and money put into these events and prizes ๐Ÿ™ and to my mid teammates: Dan for the carry, Dingoshi for working around injury to beast with us, and Hamaon and Kristin for the hard efforts and massive hauls! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ’ž

Meet Vesuvius!

Some of you are well aware and likely hoping this means that I'll finally stfu about it, but I've wanted a big dog to run, cuddle, and travel with me as well as make me feel safe (and vice versa, of course) for THE LONGEST time now, and I've been actively searching for the perfect fit for a good while. Well, July 3rd, while in Phoenix, I decided to ramp the search up a notch and visited three rescues in the area, meeting literally hundreds of dogs in the process (mostly at Maricopa County Animal Care and Control). I'm at a point in my life where I refuse to settle though, so I was very close to throwing in the towel for the day when I met Vesuvius — 105 lbs of two-year-old doberman mix (with great dane?! ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜†) and the largest dog any of the rescues had. Yup, this was my dog. Initially, I was planning to rename my new dog myself, but with a name like Vesuvius that someone probably painstakingly took the effort to come up with, I couldn't bear to. ๐Ÿ˜ I paid the $50 adoption fee — which covered getting him neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date with shots — as well as $14 for a post-op painkiller prescription, drove home to Vegas, and returned three days later to pick up my pup when he was finally ready to go. So everyone, please welcome V to the internet and into your hearts! Dude's DEFINITELY a fucking ornery WIP (thank fuck for YouTube ๐Ÿ™), but he's also a super sweet, biiiiiiiiiig baby and cuddly af. ๐Ÿ˜„ Soooo basically, my heart is now spoken for, and I'll never need a human man again, so if on the off chance you're reading this and thinking about how to use it to cleverly slide into the DMs all cute-like, please save yourself the trouble and tip your hat to this fine gentlemen as you move along, maybe to the animal rescue to get yourself a glorious canine (or other creature) of your own instead! ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿฅฐ
